We can mentor you regardless of your training wants or requirements at reasonable prices. Whether you are new to shooting/personal protection or you are experienced and looking to take your knowledge base and skills to the next level, we can help. Our cadre includes some of the most qualified, knowledgeable and experienced trainers in the area, who have used their skills throughout their military and law enforcement careers locally, nationally and internationally. The foundation of everything we teach is Mindset”, with performance being the focus and proficiency the goal. Understanding the effects of stress on the central nervous system is  paramount. Reformatting it to function appropriately can be the difference between winning and losing. A firearm is simply a tool, the “Mind” is what we use to fight and is the real weapon.

Ray Barry
Chief Training Officer/ Consultant

Former USMC Sergeant and Combat veteran. Retired Prince George’s County Maryland Deputy Sheriff.
Training experience : Rangemaster/Armorer, Training NCOIC and SST (SWAT) Sergeant, former civilian firearms instructor for a local county police department.
Contract instructor nationally and internationally and an adjunct instructor for the IALEFI, developed and taught a Master Instructor Development Program.
Instructor certifications through the Maryland State Police and the NRA.

Dave Hendry Lead Instructor/Consultant

Dave, a retired Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer 4 is the Principal Weapons and Security Trainer/Consultant.

With over 30 years of operational, physical and personal security experience. Some of his military qualifications include: Special Operations Advanced Target Interdiction Operations, and Tactical Close Quarters Operations, Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course I / II (SFAUC), Special Forces Advanced Recon, TGT Analysis and Exploitation Tech Course, Special Operations Target Interdiction Course (SOF Sniper School), Ranger School, Special Forces Qualifications Course.

Prior to entering the civilian sector, Dave had a very colorful and interesting work history; for 30 years he served in the US Army as both a Non-Commissioned Officer and Commissioned Officer in the US Army Special Operations Command. He got his start as an Army Ranger 11B with the 3rd Ranger BN / 75th Infantry and after 5 years moved on to the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) where he performed duties as an 18B (Weapons Officer), 18F (SF Intel Officer) and a 180A (SF Warrant Officer). He has multiple combat tours to both Afghanistan and Iraq and many more tours of duty to hotspots throughout Central and South America. Dave retired from active duty in 2011 and went to work as a consultant for the US Government where he continued to provide guidance and training to both US and Foreign Military and Police organizations around the world. In addition to his many years of active military service Dave also found the time to become certified and subsequently became a fully credentialed Deputy Sherriff in the state of NC.

Chief Range Safety Officer and Sr. Instructor

Former USMC Sergeant and Combat Veteran. Former Prince Georges County Deputy Sheriff, Firearms Instructor and Departmental Range Officer, Academy level and In-service experience.
Designed and Implemented the first course-of-fire for semi-automatic handguns to be approved by the Maryland Police Training Commission.
Retired from Prince George’s County Police Department.
Criminal Investigator for the Office of State’s Attorney, St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
