ATLS was not designed to be used in the combat environment. Good Medicine can be bad tactics. Day one is a review of the Basic TCCC in a classroom setting. Day two will consist of multiple scenarios where students will need to eliminate threats, to make the scene safe, and treat wounded. These drills will utilize UTMs and include treating and stabilizing a patient with an active shooter. This class is hands on and is taught by a SOCOM Medic or 18D utilizing current USSOCOM guidelines for Trauma Combat Casualty Care.

What to Bring:    Your Aid Bag or IFAK, NOTE: all medical supplies used during the hands on training will be provided by J2 Defense. One pair pants and long-sleeved shirt to cut up, Rifle / Carbine (loaners will be made available), Pants with belt, Mag Pouch for AR mags, Rifle Sling, Eye and Hearing protection, Rifle cleaning kit
